ТЕМА: Merry Christmas! ( Веселі новорічні свята. Різдво. )

МЕТА: 

Навчальна: 

• повторити лексику теми новорічних свят ( a fir-tree, a poem, Santa Claus,

• to recite a poem, to decorate, New Year, balloons, Snow-maiden, present ).

• ознайомити з лексикою теми “Christmas” ( greeting card, Christmas,

• Christmas Eve, Christmas tree, stocking ) та активізувати її у мовленні дітей.

•  Закріпляти вміння відповідати на запитання.

• Навчати навикам виразного читання, правильної вимови.

Розвивальна:

-     Розвивати комунікативні здібності учнів.

     -     Розвивати навички усного та писемного мовлення з теми (написання      

святкових листівок).

     -     Узагальнити знання про святкування новорічних свят. 

     -     Ознайомити учнів з традиціями святкування Різдва в Англії

     -      Відпрацювати вживання лексики в тексті.

     -      Розвивати здібності учнів до цілеспрямованої роботи для досягнення

поставленої мети.

Виховна:

     -      Виховувати любов та повагу до національних традицій та обрядів.

     -      Виховувати інтерес до вивчення мови

ОБЛАДНАННЯ: 

Малюнки зимньої природи, тематичні картки (Christmas, New Year),

карта-подорож, проектор, презентація, підручник, картки для самостійної роботи,

диск з піснею “We wish you a Merry Christmas!” та “ Jingle bells”,

казкові герої Маша і Ведмідь.

ХІД УРОКУ.

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Організаційний момент. (Привітання. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу).- Greetings

Т:   Good morning, children,

      We are glad to see you.

T:  I am glad to see you too. Let’s me introduce myself. My name is Irina Anatoliyivna.

I’ll be your teacher today. Nice to meet you. Sit down, please!.

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку. -Aim

T: In a month we’ll celebrate the most favourite holidays in the world: New Year’s Day

and Christmas. And today we’ll speak about these holidays and you’ll know more about

their celebrations. Besides we’ll learn a song. So, the theme of our lesson is “Merry

Christmas”.Слайд 1: Merry Christmas 

Children, look at the blackboard! Who came to us? 

 Ps: Masha and the Bear. 

T: Yes, you are right. Today we’ll travel to the magic forest. We’ll know more about

winter holidays with them.

  Як відомо Маша неслухняна -  дівчинка, яка потрапляла в різні пригоди.

І це знову з нею трапилось - зіпсувала ялинку Ведмедю, і вони вимушені піти до

чарівного лісу,  знайти  ялинку з подарунками. А на шляху треба подолати труднощі

англійської мовою.

3. Мовленнєва  та фонетична розминка. – Warming up

T: Guess what season is it?

               This is the season ,

When children ski.

And Father Frost brings.

               The New Year tree.

T: - What is the weather like in winter?

Ps: - It is cold.

T : -Is it cold today?

Ps: -No, it isn’t. It is chilly today.

T:  - What are winter months?

Ps: - They are December, January and February.Слайд 3,4,5,: Winter months

T : - What months is it now?

Ps: -  It is December.

T : - What colour are the trees, the streets and the houses in winter? 

Ps: -  They are white.Слайд 6 : White trees, houses 

T: -  Does it often snow in winter?

Ps: - Yes, it does

T: -  What can children do in winter?

Ps:- Слайд 7,8,9,10,11,12,

: They can  play snowballs, make a snowman, ski, skate, sledge, play hockey.

      Winter

Children can in winter skate,

They can ski but they can’t bathe.

• And of course Masha likes to skate, play snowballs in winter too.

T: - Всі ми любимо і з нетерпінням чекаємо зимових свят. На порозі – одне з

найбільших дивовижних свят, що несе надію і радість у кожну оселю – Новий Рік.

On the 31st of December Father Frost and Snow-Maiden come in a sleigh and put toys and sweets for

children under New Year tree in Ukraine

 

T: Ok, children! What holidays do we celebrate in winter? (Слайд 15: Christmas and New

Year’s day)

• When do we celebrate New Year’s Day ( on the 31th of December)

• When do the celebrate Christmas? ( on the seventh of January ) 

• But in Great Britain people celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December.

 Отже, в Україні ми прикрашаємо ялинку до Нового року, а в Великобританії –

до Різдва. В Україні – Дід Мороз, а в Великобританії – Санта Клауз. Так, які ж це

зимові свята без ялинки.Let’s travel with Masha and the Bear to the forest.

Тож вирушаємо з Машею та Ведмедем у подорож.

Перше завдання: У ліс за ялинкою.

T: -But first of all we must revise the words on the topic “ Winter holidays.”

                          THE NEW YEAR TREE

This is the New Year Tree. It is a fir-tree. It is very big and fine. Children

decorated it with many toys. We can see many red, yellow and blue balls and flags.

We can see a toy fox, a toy bird, a toy dog, a toy horse, a toy car and a toy rabbit.

There are apples, nuts and many, many bright little lights on the New Year Tree. 

  Children like to dance and sing around the New Year Tree. They recite poems

near it. They are happy and merry.

• I think everybody does. As for me I like to give and to get presents. I also   

like to send greeting cards.
